Swami Vivekanand Subharti University (SVSU) is a university under the section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, set up under the Swami Vivekanand Subharti Vishwavidyalaya; Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2008 (UP Act No. 29 of 2008) as passed by the Uttar Pradesh Legislature and assented to by the Honorable Governor of Uttar Pradesh in September 2008. SVSU was established with a dream of making self-confident and dynamic young people who are not only professionally competent but also fully aware of their duty to the society and the nation. The institution is committed to the mission of helping young minds thrive and realize their full potential. SVSU has been granted the accreditation rating of ‘Grade A’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University, that houses 18 colleges offering more than 220 professional programs, is one of the premier universities of the country with an international acclaim for its highest academic standards, diverse courses, distinguished faculty, varied co-curricular activities and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The lush green campus, which is aptly called ‘Subhartipuram’, covers a vast area of about 250 acres.
